About me
I’m Honey, a recent graduate from Arts University Bournemouth where I studied Performance Design and Film Costume. While at uni I was able to try my hand at designing for all elements of performance – such as creating puppets for the stage and designing costume for screen. I like to define myself as a costume textile artist as I love to explore different mediums and techniques when designing or creating.
In my final term, I created a short stop motion which allowed me to explore making an armature, miniature costume and larger-scale set models.
Sustainability is at the core of my practice; from upcycling old materials to experimenting with eco-friendly dying methods – I hope to make a positive impact on the planet with my art.
